Das Cafe in der Gartenakademie in Berlin

You expect much more of a €€€ place: 1. It is very nice, indeed 2. It was not possible to get drinks together with the breakfast (only before so that they become cold but no one cares) 3. The coffee was of average quality and taste 4. I ordered a Herzhaft Klassisch breakfast (the biggest and the most expensive (€14.5) for a single person) - have a look at it :/

Good day Now I know why there were no cakes and pies to watch in the café. I had never left a café this expensive. The cake wasn't even good. Just too expensive, a shame !!!!

We were in the café on Tuesday and absolutely cannot share the negative experience. Despite spontaneous and without reservation, the lady at the front desk was very friendly and tried to organize a table that we could take until the upcoming reservation came. The table was also in the sun, which we were advised of in advance and knew what we were getting into. The unoccupied table as free is understandable and initially we felt the same way. When groups were suddenly placed at the “free” tables and the handwritten reservation slips were taken down, we were grateful that we were able to get a table at all. In the end, the coveted shady spots were given to older women, some of whom were walkers, and families with small children, who certainly couldn't have been exposed to bright sun. We will definitely reserve in advance for next time

We were brought to the table very friendly, the service was quick and attentive and the cakes were delicious. We would love to come back!

Was there for the first time today. A very nice atmosphere, unfortunately we were greeted very unfriendly by the lady at the reception. Nothing would be free outside and we could go inside. At 28 degrees I don't like to sit in anywhere and the outside area also invites you to linger there. After we had observed that several tables were vacant, we made the receptionist aware of it and after checking that he was actually free, we were allowed to sit down. but that this table would not have an umbrella. Shortly afterwards, several tables became free and we asked to be allowed to move. Unfortunately, the waitress couldn't decide that on her own, the receptionist had to do that. We were then asked by the waitress to pay, since we would no longer be in the area in which she was responsible. We did that and waited in vain for the assignment, but then nothing happened. The new guests were brought to the beautiful shady spots and we continued to braise in the blazing sun. I decided not to go there anymore, because that's just not how you treat guests. I recommend the "nice" lady at the reception to take part in a basic course on how to receive guests. This is not possible. The food and drinks were good but also very expensive.

I spontaneously came to the cafe with my girlfriend today. Rude "receptionist", slow, uninterested staff. Unfortunately, we didn't get a sun-protected place at the beginning. When places became available later, we wanted to move. Unfortunately, the request was not met. Everything was supposed to be reserved. Food and drinks overpriced.

Simply beautiful in a beautiful setting to sit comfortably and enjoy meals. We were there for brunch and it was a great selection everything tasted very good. It is really unusual u. highly recommended👍

Unfriendly... Since the weather was pleasant, we wanted to sit outside, inside it was also too loud ... I asked (supposedly that was the boss) he said there is no service outside. Also on the offer to get coffee and cake ourselves ... he did not accept. The customer is not king there ...

A lovely and cosy restaurant in glass house. Dinning area are a bit tight and surrounding with plants. Very simple brunch buffet, delicious food but don't expect will have much choices. Not really has services and a bit pricey.

One of the finest brunch I ever had, in an enchanting atmosohere, for a rather cheap Price considering the very high quality of the foods. You must try the smoked and raw fishes in the buffet!

Taken aback, like in a Jane Austen movie, sitting in this magical, whimsical garden estate of the royal garden academy, enjoying fresh apple and ginger tea followed by a crisp and delicate red cabbage, almond, feta salad. My eyes got big and excited seeing my main course, the beautiful risotto with peas and perfectly cooked prawns. It was everything, just delicious. I'm so intrigued by this place, I sincerely hope it will always be kept a very very good secret. Thanks to the lovely staff and the assistant managing director, Kay. I won't make this my second home, just yet.

Very good cake selection at a price around 5 €. It is very difficult to get a good spot in the garden when the weather is nice. The service could be a bit better but are very friendly. You are sitting in a nursery, beautiful plants and very cozy.

Nice Cafe inside of a greenhouse. If you love plants, you'd feel right at home. The only downside is that the price is a bit steeper in comparison to other Cafes in Berlin. However it's still so worth it because you get the experience as well. I posted some pics and videos of the Cafe on my instagram and loads of my friends are definitely interested as soon as they've seen them.

Great atmosphere for a relaxing time surrounded by flowers, plants and nice architecture. Of course the experience gets intensified during summer but same thing happens with the whole city. Totally worth it!

The cakes are excellent though expensive, but service is completely unfriendly. They bring tap water only in very small glasses, so when on a very hot day, 35°, we asked the waitress to bring one more glass, she said it's toomuch for her!

The ambience is unquestionably great, but prices that are not entirely fair are a bit of an understatement. For a breakfast € 10.70 ... you get about 2 eggs, 50g salmon, 1 toast, a piece of butter and a little horseradish. If you like to have breakfast there, you shouldn't go hungry.

Delicious, varied brunch offer in a beautiful ambience. Right in the greenhouses. We were at the end of February and it was wonderful to sit among the many colorful and fragrant spring bloomers, which were decoratively distributed and offered for sale in a separate greenhouse. The staff is very courteous. We were there for the second time and would love to come back.

Wonderful oasis - even on cool days. Fantastic cakes and delicious breakfast. Very nice service and small shopping opportunities in the greenhouses: Manufactum, plants and special gift ideas. We look forward to when everything blooms, come back and sit outside.
